Karnataka Farmers urged government to enforce SAP

Ravindran, National President of the All India Sugarcane Growers Association. He was speaking after inaugurating the State Conference of Sugarcane Growers organized by the Karnataka Sugarcane Growers Association in the city on Sunday. “When the SAP suspension was announced in Tamil Nadu, there was a large-scale protest. As a result, farmers there now receive an additional ₹250 per ton of sugarcane as SAP. Farmers in Punjab and Haryana are getting SAP.
