Kushinagar: Drones used for spraying urea on sugarcane crops
In Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Dhada Sugar Mill has introduced the use of drones to spray urea and pesticides on sugarcane crops. The mill officials conducted a demonstration to showcase the advantages of drone technology to local farmers. According to the Sugarcane Manager, this method offers a more systematic, cost-effective, and time-saving approach to spraying, which can help reduce overall farming expenses and boost crop yields.
Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh: Urea and other pesticides were sprayed on sugarcane crops in the region using drones by Dhada Sugar Mill. The mill’s officials explained to the farmers the benefits of using drones for spraying urea and pesticides, reports Amar Ujala.
Sugarcane Manager of the sugar mill, stated that drones have been arranged for the convenience of farmers, allowing systematic spraying of pesticides and fertilizers at a lower cost and in less time. He mentioned that using drones for spraying will reduce farming costs and increase crop yield. Following this, the mill’s employees carried out the drone spraying of urea and pesticides on the sugarcane crops of local farmers. Deepankar Yadav, Jhankari Baba, Ashok Upadhyay, Chaitanya Upadhyay, Manoj Upadhyay, and Dinesh Prasad, among others, were present during the event.
