Pakistan : Balanced use of fertilizers stressed to enhance wheat yield
The Punjab Agriculture Department recommends balanced fertilizer use for wheat to improve yields. They advise applying phosphorus and potash at sowing, preferably through drilling. Fertilizers should be tailored to soil fertility, with nitrogen applied in stages for sandy areas. For late sowing or rain-fed areas, all fertilizers should be applied at sowing. Soil analysis is encouraged to optimize fertilizer use.
LAHORE : The Punjab Agriculture Department has advised wheat growers to use balanced and proportional fertilizers to enhance crop yield.
