Punjab’s agricultural sector has developed an organic formula, created by Syed Babar Hussain Bukhari, that enhances wheat production on barren, saline lands. The formula improves soil fertility without chemical fertilizers, ensuring robust crop growth. Amid growing concerns over climate change and prolonged droughts, Punjab’s agricultural sector has developed an organic formula that enhanced wheat production.
Tested in Phool Nagar, the formuladeveloped by agricultural scientist Syed Babar Hussain Bukharihas proven highly effective in transforming barren, saline lands into fertile, cultivable fields.
Farmers and agricultural experts alike are hailing it as a game-changer for sustainable farming.
Local farmer Rana Muhammad Iftikhar shared his firsthand experience after applying the formula to his fields.
“My land was severely affected by saline soil, making it impossible for crops to grow. However, after using this organic solution, the fertility of my land improved drastically. Even without chemical fertilizers, my wheat crop is thriving, showing exceptional strength and resilience,” he said.
He added that the crop’s stalks are so robust that even horses running over them cannot flatten them.
Renowned agricultural expert Brigadier (retd) Syed Jafar Abbas also validated the formula’s effectiveness.
He observed that wheat plants treated with the solution had significantly stronger roots and stalks, resembling bamboo rather than traditional wheat stems.
He emphasised the importance of integrating this innovation into national agricultural policies to enhance food security.
Syed Babar Hussain Bukhari, the scientist behind the formula, dedicated 25 years to developing a sustainable and eco-friendly solution for farmers.
He explained that the formula is completely organic, free from synthetic chemicals, and preserves beneficial microorganisms in the soil.
The formula enables soil to retain moisture up to three feet deep, ensuring continuous hydration for crops.
