Punjab should be preferred state for food processing units: Roller Flour Millers

CHANDIGARH: The Roller Flour Millers’ Association held its second annual general meeting on Tuesday at Sangrur and said Punjab should be the preferred state for setting up food processing units which use wheat flour as their raw material.
Dharminder Singh Gill, president of the association said, “In our recent request the Industry had requested the Government of Punjab to facilitate increased coordination between Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and the industry so that the two could work together to identify ways and means which will benefit the growers and the processors.
