Sale of edible oil by mixing palm oil with chemicals
Navi Mumbai APMCA raid has been conducted on a factory in the area that mixes palm oil with different chemicals on behalf of branded companies and manufactures castor oil and rye oil. This factory was being run in APMC for the past few months. Oil samples from that location have been sent for testing.
An oil factory named Gautam Agro India was being run in the APMC premises. There palm oil was mixed with other chemicals to make castor oil and rye oil of the famous band. Information about thisfoodAnd the drug administration as well as the crime branch were received by the police.
This oil was supplied for sale in APMC area as well as at various places. However, this oil, made by mixing chemicals with light quality palm oil, can pose a threat to the health of citizens. Therefore, the oil samples from there have been raided and sent for inspection. Crime Branch Inspector Abasaheb Patil said that a case will be registered against the concerned after the report.In Navi MumbaiIn the market, castor oil and rye oil of famous brands were mixed with chemicals. According to information received , 20 workers were working day and night,
recently raided this factory in APMC. A large number of them were sold under the names of Gujarat, Sona and Saurashtra castor oil made by mixing palm oil with chemicals, while rye oil was sold under the brand name Keshav. A factory was set up with big tanks for adulteration. Imported palm oil was poured into it and various chemicals were mixed in it and filled into containers.
