Sant Kabir Nagar: Sugar mill to start operation from November end
Preparations are underway for sugarcane procurement in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, as the Munderwa Sugar Mill gears up to begin operations by month’s end. Committee secretary B.S. Dixit reported that eight procurement centers are being set up, with officials directed to complete arrangements. This early setup aims to ensure a smooth process once the mill’s crushing season starts.
Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh: Preparations for sugarcane procurement are in full swing in Sant Kabir Nagar district as the Munderwa Sugar Mill is set to start operations by the end of this month. With the mill beginning its crushing process, sugarcane purchases from farmers will also commence. This update was provided by committee secretary B.S. Dixit, reported Live Hindustan.
Dixit mentioned that procurement centres are being set up, with eight centres in the district designated for sugarcane supply. All necessary arrangements are being made, and officials in charge of these centres have been instructed to complete their preparations. Since sugarcane supply is essential as soon as the mill starts running, procurement will begin in advance to ensure a seamless process.
