Siddharam Salimath appointed as Maharashtra’s new sugar commissioner
The Maharashtra government has transferred nine IAS officers, appointing Siddharam Salimath as the new Sugar Commissioner. He replaces Dr. Kunal Khemnar, who is now Joint CEO at CIDCO, Mumbai. Salimath, a 2011-batch IAS officer, has held several key administrative positions in the state.
The Maharashtra government has recently issued transfer orders for 9 IAS officers across the state.
The Maharashtra government has appointed Siddharam Salimath, the District Collector of Ahilyanagar, as the new Sugar Commissioner. He will replace Dr. Kunal Khemnar, who has been transferred to the position of Joint Chief Executive Officer at CIDCO in Mumbai.
Salimath is an experienced officer in the state administration and belongs to the 2011 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
Throughout his career, he has held numerous significant positions in the state administration.
