Mumbai: The state cabinet has approved a plan for the Shetkari Cooperative Sugar Factory in Killari, Latur, to repay loans of ₹6.9 crores in equal instalments, reports Times of India.
The factory, overseen by BJP MLA Abhimanyu Pawar, had loans dating back to 1981-82 and 2002-03. Officials debated whether the policy for instalment repayments could apply to such old loans, but the cabinet gave its approval.
