Meanwhile, top losers included Magadh Sugar & Energy (down 2.87%) and Vishwaraj Sugar Industries (down 1.82%). The NSE Nifty50 was down 182.21 points, while the BSE Sensex dropped 651.67 points.

Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.(up 0.89%), Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd.(up 0.70%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.70%), Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd.(up 0.68%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd.(up 0.56%), KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd.(up 0.22%) and Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd.(up 0.13%) were among the top gainers .
Magadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 2.87%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd.(down 1.82%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd.(down 1.51%), Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd.(down 1.50%), Ugar Sugar Works Ltd.(down 1.25%), DCM Shriram Industries Ltd.(down 1.18%), KM Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 1.15%), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd.(down 1.04%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)Ltd.(down 1.02%) and Sakthi Sugars Ltd.(down 0.97%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 182.21 points down at 25996.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 651.67 points at 84920.18 at around 10:04AM.
JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.04%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.9%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.89%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.45%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.99%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 0.87%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 0.87%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.8%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.76%) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.51%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
