Sugar production volume in Kyrgyzstan exceeds 1,803 billion soms

Kyrgyzstan’s sugar production surged sharply in January–July 2025, reaching 1,803.6 billion soms in current prices, according to the National Statistical Committee. This marks a significant increase compared to 2024, when the industry was nearly stagnant. However, the report did not include physical production volume indices to measure actual output growth.

This figure significantly exceeds last year’s figures. That is, the industry was practically frozen in 2024.
At the same time, the National Statistical Committee’s report does not contain indices of physical production volume.
