Sugarcane Survey in Uttar Pradesh completed on 17 lakh hectares of area

Lucknow: The administration in Uttar Pradesh has launched an intensive sugarcane survey for the upcoming 2024-25 crushing season, emphasizing continuous monitoring and swift progress. According to the Sugarcane Department, surveys have been completed in 29,174 villages out of 45,507, covering 64 percent of the total villages. 17 lakh hectares have been surveyed so far.

The department has issued stringent directives to expedite the remaining survey work promptly.
