Kolhapur: This year, sugar and by-products have got good prices, so the factories are left with money. Due to inflation, farmers’ financial calculations have collapsed and on the eve of Dussehra and Diwali festivals, the sugar factories in the state should order the factory owners to pay at least Rs.

At this time, it was pointed out that under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the Malegaon and Someshwar factories have paid more than Rs 500 per ton over the FRP. Along with this, the decision taken by the Shinde and Fadnavis governments to change the law made by the Mahavikas Aghadi government to give FRP in two stages to the sugarcane farmers and to give FRP in one amount should be taken immediately. Farmers who pay loans regularly should get subsidy and the government should decide about subsidy for farmers who have loans above 2 lakhs. Demands were made to prevent clashes in sugar factories.
