Training of ten thousand sugarcane farmers completed
The Uttar Pradesh government has been providing training to sugarcane farmers since February 2 to increase cane yield and improve agricultural practices ¹. Over 10,000 farmers have been trained so far, with 128 training sessions conducted across three locations: Shahjahanpur Research Institute for Central Uttar Pradesh, Sewarhi Institute for Eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Muzaffarnagar Center for Western Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of sugarcane farmers, ultimately boosting sugarcane production in the state.
Shahjahanpur: Uttar Pradesh is providing training to sugarcane farmers to increase cane yield, reports Live Hindustan. So far more than 10,000 farmers got trained to improve their agricultural practices.
Farmers from Central Uttar Pradesh are being trained at the Shahjahanpur Research Institute, those from Eastern Uttar Pradesh at the Sewarhi Institute, and farmers from Western Uttar Pradesh at the Muzaffarnagar Center.
This training program has been ongoing since February 2. So far, 128 training sessions have been conducted, benefiting 10,082 sugarcane farmers with essential knowledge and skills.
