TruAlt Bioenergy secures major order for 1G Bioethanol from OMCs
TruAlt Bioenergy, India’s largest biofuel company, has secured a Rs 390 crore ethanol order from leading Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for 6 crore liters of 1G Bioethanol over three months. With a 10% share of the total allocated quantity, TruAlt emerges as a consistent and reliable supplier. Holding a 3.7% market share by production capacity, the company sets benchmarks in the bioenergy sector, contributing significantly to India’s progress in reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
TruAlt Bioenergy, one of India’s largest biofuel and bioenergy companies, has secured a ethanol order valued at over Rs 390 crore from leading Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) such as Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, and Mangalore Refineries and Ports Limited. This order involves supplying nearly 6 crore liters of 1G Bioethanol over a three-month period from August to October 2024. TruAlt Bioenergy has secured approximately 10 per cent of the total allocated quantity, representing a strong supply commitment to all OMCs, reported PTI.
This significant order follows a competitive tendering process organized by the OMCs, where TruAlt Bioenergy emerged as a consistent and reliable supplier. Holding the highest market share by production capacity at 3.7%, TruAlt Bioenergy continues to set benchmarks in the bioenergy sector.
