Turkey, Italy and Spain became the largest buyers of Ukrainian corn in the MY 2024/25


Turkey emerged as the top importer of Ukrainian corn in MY 2024/25, purchasing 5.5 million tons, according to the Ukrainian Grain Association. Italy and Spain followed with nearly 3 and 2.7 million tons, respectively. Total exports reached 21.5 million tons, valued at $4.5 billion.
In the MY 2024/2025, Turkey became the largest buyer of Ukrainian corn, importing 5.5 million tons of products. This is evidenced by data from the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA).
The top three also included:
- Italy — almost 3 million tons,
- Spain — over 2.7 million tons.
High demand also remains from the Netherlands (2.36 million tons) and Egypt (1.7 million tons).
Other key markets for Ukrainian corn include:
- South Korea — 778 thousand tons,
- Libya — 721 thousand tons,
- Israel — 583 thousand tons,
- Belgium — 558 thousand tons,
- Lebanon — 524 thousand tons.
Last season, Ukraine exported 21.5 million tons of corn worth almost $4.5 billion, compared to last year’s production of 25.9 million tons.
