Two-day national seminar on wheat from November 7
CHANDIGARH: The Wheat Products Promotion Society (WPPS), in association with the Roller Flour Millers Association of Punjab (RFMAP), will organise a two-day national seminar titled “Wheat in Transformation: Preparing for Climate, Quality, and Consumption” on November 7–8, 2025, in Chandigarh.
Ajay Goyal, Chairman, Wheat Products Promotion Society (WPPS), and Ajay Jindal, President, Roller Flour Millers Association of Punjab (RFMAP), said the initiative aims to bring together the entire wheat value chain—from farmers and breeders to millers, bakers, food processors, and researchers—to chart a roadmap for the future of India’s wheat industry in the context of changing climate, consumer trends, and global trade opportunities.
The event will feature participation from across the country, including farmers, wheat breeders, climate scientists, geospatial and geological experts, policymakers, millers, bakers, food processors, technology providers, and international experts, creating a multi-disciplinary platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
