Ukraine completes wheat and barley harvest

As of September 26, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 30 mln tons of grains from 7.21 mln ha, or 63% of the sown area. Wheat output reached 22.52 mln tons, barley 5.33 mln, and peas 626.6 thsd tons. Corn, soybeans, sunflowers, and sugar beet harvesting continues, with improving yields.

As of September 26, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 30 mln tons of grains from 7.21 mln ha. A total of 63% of the sown area under these crops has been threshed.

In particular, harvesting is completed for:

  • Wheat — 22.52 mln tons with an average yield of 4.49 t/ha from 5.02 mln ha;
  • Barley — 5.33 mln tons with a yield of 3.96 t/ha from 1.35 mln ha;
  • Peas — 626.6 thsd tons with a yield of 2.36 t/ha from 266.0 thsd ha.

Harvesting continues for:

  • Corn — 964.2 thsd tons from 195.9 thsd ha (5%), with an average yield of 4.92 t/ha (compared to 4.31 t/ha last week);
  • Other grains and pulses — 859.4 thsd tons from 308.7 thsd ha (83%).

Regional leaders include:

  • Odesa region — 3.69 mln tons from 1.11 mln ha;
  • Vinnytsia region — 2.42 mln tons from 436 thsd ha;
  • Kirovohrad region — 2.22 mln tons from 541.3 thsd ha;
  • Khmelnytskyi region — 2.13 mln tons from 309.6 thsd ha.

Rapeseed harvest is completed with 3.3 mln tons from 1.27 mln ha.

Soybeans — 1.51 mln tons from 749.7 thsd ha (35%), with an average yield of 2.02 t/ha (1.95 t/ha last week).

Sunflower seed — 4.11 mln tons from 2.24 mln ha (43.6%), with an average yield of 1.84 t/ha (1.55 t/ha last week).

Sugar beet digging has already reached 1.42 mln tons from 29 thsd ha.
