Ukraine has already exported 65% of the authorized volume of wheat for MY 2024/25

As of January 24, Ukraine has exported 24.475 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the 2024/25 marketing year, surpassing last year’s 22.246 million tonnes. Wheat exports reached 10.563 million tonnes, barley 2.035 million tonnes, and corn 11.729 million tonnes. Wheat export quotas have been utilized by 65%. Flour exports totaled 41.6 thousand tonnes. January shipments were lower than last year.

As of January 24, Ukraine has exported 24.475 mln tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the 2024/25 MY, of which 2.514 mln tonnes have been shipped this month. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy with reference to operational data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
It is specified that as of the same date last year, total shipments amounted to 22.246 mln tonnes, including 3.682 mln tonnes in January.
In terms of crops since the beginning of the current season were exported:
– wheat – 10.563 mln tonnes (in January – 650 thousand tons);
– barley – 2.035 mln tonnes (36 thousand tons);
– rye – 10.8 thousand tonnes (0);
– corn – 11.729 mln tonnes (1.82 mln tonnes).
Thus, the volume of wheat exports for MY 2024/25, agreed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and grain market participants (16.2 mln tonnes), has already been exhausted by 65%.
As of January 24, total exports of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season are estimated at 41.6 thousand tons (4 thousand tons in January), including 38.2 thousand tons of wheat flour (3.7 thousand tons).
