Ukrainian corn exports approached 21.5 mln tons

As of June 18, Ukraine exported 39.86 million tonnes of grain and legumes in the 2024/25 marketing year, down 24.2% year-on-year. Wheat exports fell 17.3% to 15.47 million tonnes, while corn exports dropped 32.2% to 21.48 million tonnes. Barley exports reached 2.31 million tonnes. Flour exports also declined sharply by 40.1% to 68,000 tonnes.

As of June 18, in the 2024/2025 MY, Ukraine exported 39 million 859 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 9 million 681 thousand tons or 24.2% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Wheat exports amounted to 15 million 473 thousand tons, which is 2 million 650 thousand tons or 17.3% less than last year.

Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 312 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye.

Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 21 million 480 thousand tons, which is 6 million 936 thousand tons or 32.2% less than last year.

In addition, 68,000 tons of flour (or 90,700 tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 28,700 tons or 40.1% less than last year.
