Ukrainian corn exports exceeded 13 mln tons
Ukraine exported about 24.2 million tonnes of grain and legumes in the 2025–26 marketing year as of March 16, down 23% year-on-year, according to the State Customs Service of Ukraine. Lower shipments were recorded across key crops, including wheat, corn and barley, reflecting weaker export volumes this season.
The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of March 16 amounted to 24.2 million tons, which is 7.3 million tons, or 23% less than the previous season. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service.
Thus, 9.4 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 3.3 million tons, or 26% less than last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to over 1.39 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 37%.
Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.
More than 13 million tons of corn were exported, which is 19% less than last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 46.2 thousand tons, which is 11% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the MY 2024/25, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
