Virudhunagar farmers asked to pay crop insurance premium
Farmers in Virudhunagar district are urged to pay crop insurance premiums for the Kharif season under the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme. Collector V.P. Jeyaseelan announced that payments can be made via banks, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies, or common service centres. This initiative aims to provide financial security to farmers in the event of crop loss, ensuring accessibility and ease of payment through multiple channels.

In a statement, Collector V.P. Jeyaseelan said the farmers could pay the premium through banks, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies or common service centres.
