Wheat Pushing Higher at Midday
Wheat futures are experiencing midday gains across major markets on Friday. Chicago SRW futures are up by 4 to 5.5 cents, KC HRW contracts are showing 3 to 4 cent increases, and MPLS spring wheat futures are 1 to 3 cents higher. The delayed Export Sales report showed 612,408 MT in wheat sales, exceeding expectations, with Mexico being a major buyer.
The wheat market is showing midday gains across the three markets on Friday. Chicago SRW futures are up 4 to 5 1/2 cents so far on the session. KC HRW contracts closed are showing 3 to 4 cent gains across nearbys. MPLS spring wheat futures are 1 to 3 cents in the green on the day.
The delayed Export Sales report indicated a total of 612,408 MT in wheat sales during the week of 12/19, exceeding the trade estimates of 250,000 to 600,000 MT. That was the largest sales total in 25 weeks and 33.73% larger than the previous week. Mexico was the buyer of 132,400 MT

Mar 25 MGEX Wheat is at $5.96 1/2, up 2 1/2 cents,
May 25 MGEX Wheat is at $6.03 1/4, up 1 cent.
