Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) figures were even more concerning, with a 28.31% decrease in revenue and a staggering 79.35% drop in profit. This decline can be attributed to a sharp rise in Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) expenses, which surged by 42.05% QoQ and 17.34% YoY.

In a bid to enhance liquidity and make its shares more accessible to a broader range of investors, Davangere Sugar recently implemented a 1:5 stock split.

The stock traded ex-split on May 31, 2024, meaning for every one share held, shareholders received four additional shares.
