Bihar: Joint Cane Commissioner inspects sugarcane survey work in Hasanpur
HASANPUR, BIHAR (June 13): Joint Cane Commissioner Jai Prakash Narayan Singh inspected sugarcane survey work in Hasanpur, covering villages like Rampur and Sakarpur. GPS machines measure sugarcane fields, with 45 teams deployed, reported Live Hindustan. Assistant Cane Commissioner Sugreev Pathak noted 25,000 acres measured so far, targeting 54,000 acres of cultivation, to be completed by June 30. Singh also reviewed sugarcane crops in fields during the visit. The survey measures fields by GPS on three sides.
Hasanpur, Bihar: Joint Cane Commissioner Jai Prakash Narayan Singh inspected the sugarcane survey work in Hasanpur on Tuesday. During his visit, he inspected the survey work in villages like Rampur, Sakarpur, Shasan, Simraha, and Patsa, and also took stock of the sugarcane crops in the fields, reported Live Hindustan.
It is informed that under the survey, sugarcane fields are being measured using GPS machines. In this regard, Assistant Cane Commissioner Sugreev Pathak informed the Joint Cane Commissioner that 45 teams had been deployed for the survey work. So far, 25,000 acres have been measured. He said that the survey work is done by measuring the three sides of the field using GPS. He informed that a target has been set to complete the survey work by June 30. It is estimated that sugarcane cultivation will be done in 54,000 acres. This will become clear after the completion of the survey work.
