U.S. ethanol exports are up by almost half compared to last year
U.S. ethanol exports are well ahead of last year’s numbers, with Canada being the largest buyer nearly 40 months in a row.
Overall ethanol exports are up 41 percent compared to last year, but between May and June, those numbers fell 6 percent. The Renewable Fuels Association says Canada took the lowest amount all year during that time, but they remain the top buyer of U.S. ethanol.
Distillers dried grains took a 7 percent fall on the month, but solubles rose 15 percent on the year.
