DCM Shriram Industries(up 1.72%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(up 1.41%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 0.75%), Bannari Amman Sugars(up 0.55%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(up 0.53%), Mawana Sugars(up 0.47%), Rana Sugars(up 0.42%), K.M.Sugar Mills(up 0.34%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 0.30%) and Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(up 0.27%) were among the top gainers.

Dharani Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.81%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(down 1.21%), Ugar Sugar Works(down 1.06%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.01%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(down 0.70%), Balrampur Chini Mills(down 0.51%) and Sakthi Sugars(down 0.20%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 29.75 points up at 17944.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 56.83 points at 60706.21 at around 11:27AM.

Adani Enterprises(up 3.54%), Wipro(up 2.8%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.37%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.88%), Britannia Industries(up 1.64%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.61%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 1.46%), Reliance Industries(up 1.26%), Nestle India(up 1.1%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 2.86%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.85%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.72%), Titan Company Ltd(down 1.14%), Asian Paints(down 0.77%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.72%), ICICI Bank(down 0.63%), HCL Technologies(down 0.63%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.49%) and Cipla(down 0.48%) were trading in the red.
