India has been named the exclusive partner for the European Hydrogen Week in November 2024, as announced during the International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH-2024) in New Delhi. The event highlighted India’s commitment to EU green regulations and featured global discussions on green hydrogen. A Letter of Intent was signed between India’s ACME Cleantech and the Netherlands’ Chane Terminal for ammonia import terminals.

This partnership was revealed on the second day of the International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH-2024) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. A Letter of Intent (LoI) was signed between Chane Terminal from the Netherlands and ACME Cleantech from India for establishing Ammonia import terminals. This collaboration aims to strengthen ties and promote sustainable energy solutions. The EU session, chaired by Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal and Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, CEO of Hydrogen Europe, emphasized green hydrogen’s role in global decarbonization efforts. They discussed how reforming the Emission Trading System (ETS) could help price carbon effectively, promoting hydrogen as a viable alternative to fossil fuels. Over 100 stalls showcased the latest technologies and innovations in the green hydrogen value chain. The exhibition attracted over 2000 delegates, including academicians, industry experts, start-ups, policymakers, and diplomats. This diverse participation highlighted the growing interest and investment in green hydrogen technologies.
