Andhra Pradesh : Visakhapatnam Port sets new record in rice shipment

Visakhapatnam port has set a new record in rice exports by successfully shipping 7,790 metric tonnes of rice bags in break-bulk to m.v. Elefthrotria at EQ-1A Berth on February 6. This surpasses the previous record of 6,758 MT s shipped to m.v. Amis Wisdom II at EQ-4 on August 10, 2024.
Visakhapatnam port has set a new record in rice exports by successfully shipping 7,790 metric tonnes of rice bags in break-bulk to m.v. Elefthrotria at EQ-1A Berth on February 6. This surpasses the previous record of 6,758 MT s shipped to m.v. Amis Wisdom II at EQ-4 on August 10, 2024.
The operation was executed under the agency of M/s. Spartans, involving various exporters and multiple stevedores, according to a statement issued by T. Venu Gopal, Secretary, Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), on Friday.
