ICE March white sugar delivery seen at 411,200 metric tonnes: Traders


Preliminary data shows 411,200 metric tonnes of refined sugar were delivered for the March contract expiration at ICE London. Sucden was the largest deliverer with 6,570 lots, while ED&F Man received all 8,224 lots. Official exchange data will be released Friday.
Preliminary data from sugar traders on Thursday indicated that deliveries of refined sugar for the March contract expiration at the ICE London exchange amounted to 8,224 lots, or 411,200 metric tonnes.
As per the report, French commodities trader Sucden was the largest deliverer, with 6,570 lots, while ED&F Man, a trader, was the sole receiver, taking all 8,224 lots.
Official data of the operation will be released by the exchange on Friday.
