Haryana-based Saraswati Sugar Mills (SSM) received the “Excellence Award for Producing the Best Quality Refined Sugar” from the Sugar Technologists Association of India at the 34th ICUMSA Session. This award highlights SSM’s commitment to global quality standards and sustainability, reinforcing India’s growing influence in the sugar industry.
Haryana-based Saraswati Sugar Mills (SSM) has been honored with the prestigious “Excellence Award for Producing the Best Quality Refined Sugar” by the Sugar Technologists Association of India (STAI) at the 34th Session of ICUMSA. This recognition, presented amidst global experts at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, underscores SSM’s commitment to innovation and superior quality in a rapidly evolving market, according to the press release.
The award coincides with the 34th Session of ICUMSA (International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis), a key event held in India from March 3-5, 2025. This timing highlights the nation’s growing influence in the global sugar industry, as India is both the largest consumer and second-largest producer of sugar worldwide.
