Indore: Wheat Procurement Registration Open Till March 31, Farmers Urged To Enroll Soon
In Indore division, 72,962 farmers have registered to sell wheat at the Minimum Support Price (MSP), with registrations open until March 31. Wheat is being bought at Rs 2,600 per quintal, including a Rs 175 per quintal bonus. A total of 209 procurement centers are set up, and the purchase will continue until May 5. Across the state, about 10 lakh farmers have registered.
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): So far 72,962 farmers have registered for the sale of wheat at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) in Indore division. Farmers have been urged to register for procurement at the designated centres before the March 31 deadline.
The purchase will continue in the procurement centres till May 5. A total of 209 procurement centers have been set up in the division.
Wheat is being purchased at the rate of Rs 2,600 per quintal.
In this, the minimum support price is Rs 2,425 and a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal is being given by the state government.
According to official information, about 10 lakh farmers in the state have registered themselves for the sale of wheat at the MSP.
Out of this, 160 farmers have registered in Burhanpur district of Indore division, 4,305 in Khargone, 577 in Barwani, 85 in Alirajpur, 11,560 in Khandwa, 20,647 in Dhar, 3,934 in Jhabua and 31,694 farmers have registered in Indore.
Apart from this, Mandsaur 31,714, Neemuch 10,259, Agar-Malwa 25,357, Dewas 37,038, Ratlam 19,966, Shajapur 53,172, Ujjain 78,016, Ashoknagar 12,557, Shivpuri 8,662, Gwalior 5,880, Datia 7,680, Guna 8,446, Bhind 10,470, Sheopur 11,157, Morena 7,824, Jabalpur 11,075, Balaghat 806, Katni 15,511, Pandhurna 89, Dindori 1,773, Chhindwara 9,091, Seoni 24,801, Narsinghpur 20,979, Mandla 9,350 in, 22,227 in Harda, 8,788 in Betul, 52,017 in Narmadapuram, 65,348 in Vidisha, 57,898 in Raisen, 55,855 in Rajgarh, 26,847 in Bhopal, 76,299 in Sehore, 12,028 in Satna, 9,439 in Rewa, 4,369 in Singrauli, 996 in Mauganj, 3,835 in Maihar, 4,535 in Sidhi, 521 in Anuppur, 4,312 in Umaria, 5,145 in Shahdol, 14,785 in Panna, 1,132 in Niwari, 22,505 in Damoh, 8,048 in Tikamgarh, 12,198 in Chhatarpur and 56,462 farmers have registered in Sagar.
