South Korea purchased 75 thousand tons of corn.

South Korea’s NOFI bought 75,000 tons of feed corn in a November 12 tender. Agrocorp will supply 60,000 tons at $265.5 per ton, with a small surcharge for two-port delivery, while Lotte will deliver 15,000 tons at $255.9 per ton. Shipments from multiple global origins will arrive by February 15, 2026.

On November 12, South Korean animal feed manufacturer Nonghyup Feed Inc (NOFI) purchased 75,000 tons of feed corn at a tender, according to Zerno On-Line, citing Reuters.

The winners of the tender were:

  • Agrocorp, which will supply 60 thousand tons of corn at a price of $ 265.5  per ton plus $1.3 per ton if delivery occurs to two ports;
  • Lotte – 15 thousand tons at a price of $ 255.9  per ton.

Shipments are scheduled for the period from January 8 to 27 from ports of Australia, Canada and the Northwest Coast of the United States, from December 19 to January 7 from ports of the Gulf of Mexico, from December 24 to December 12 from ports of Europe, and from December 14 to February 2 from ports of South America.

The purchased grain will arrive in South Korea by February 15, 2026.
