Ukrainian corn exports exceed 7.5 mln tons
Ukraine’s grain exports in MY 2025/26 reached 13.82 million tonnes by December 12, down 28.6% year-on-year. Wheat exports fell 17%, barley 35.6% and corn 40.3%. Flour exports also declined, reflecting tighter supplies despite a recent pickup in corn shipments.
As of December 12, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 13 million 821 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 5 million 538 thousand tons or 28.6% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of December 12, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 7 million 610 thousand tons, which is 1 million 565 thousand tons or 17.06% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 222 thousand tons – 35.6% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 4 million 750 thousand tons, which is 3 million 219 thousand tons or 40.3% less than last year. However, compared to December 2024, in the first month of winter, corn exports are 27.2% ahead of last year’s figures.
In addition, 31.2 thousand tons of flour (or 41.6 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 3.5 thousand tons or 10.0% less than last year.
