Pipraich Sugar Mill in UP will add a 120 KLPD ethanol distillery, backed by ₹25 crore in the 2026–27 budget. The move aims to speed up cane payments and create jobs. The revived mill has already crushed record volumes this season, paying 93% of ₹139 crore dues to farmers.
