Ukraine exported 19.5 mln tons of grain

Ukraine’s grain exports in MY 2025/26 fell nearly 40% year-on-year to 19.51 MMT, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Wheat exports dropped 35%, barley 57%, and corn 41.5%. Flour shipments also declined, reflecting significantly lower overall export volumes compared to last season.

As of February 9, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 19 million 512 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 7 million 763 thousand tons or 39.7% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

As of February 9, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 8 million 497 thousand tons, which is 2 million 967 thousand tons or 34.9% less than last year.

Barley exports amounted to 1 million 338 thousand tons – 57.4% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.

Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 9 million 373 thousand tons, which is 3 million 897 thousand tons or 41.5% less than last year.

In addition, 39.8 thousand tons of flour (or 53.1 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 5.7 thousand tons or 14.3% less than last year.
