Lakhimpur Kheri: Gobind Sugar Mill in Aira has achieved a new milestone in the current crushing season by processing over 150 lakh quintals of sugarcane, setting its highest-ever record, Bhaskar reported.

According to the mill administration, this is the largest volume of cane crushed in its history. The previous record was set in the 2022–23 season, when the mill processed 149.32 lakh quintals.

Marking the achievement, the Executive Director credited the success to the combined efforts of farmers, employees, government officials and local residents. He said the milestone reflects collective hard work and commitment, with special appreciation for the farmers’ contribution.
