Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 31 mln tons
Ukraine exported 31.14 million tonnes of grains and pulses in the 2025/26 marketing year as of May 11, down 19.3% year-on-year. Wheat, barley, corn and flour exports all declined, with barley recording the sharpest drop at 56.1% compared to last year.
As of May 11, in the 2025/26 MY, Ukraine exported 31 million 141 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 6 million 012 thousand tons or 19.3% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of May 11, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 11 million 613 thousand tons, which is 2 million 884 thousand tons or 24.8% less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 1 million 467 thousand tons – 56.1% less compared to the same period last year. In addition, 0.2 thousand tons of rye were exported abroad.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 17 million 621 thousand tons, which is 2 million 187 thousand tons or 12.4% less than last year.
In addition, 55.1 thousand tons of flour (or 73.5 thousand tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 7.2 thousand tons or 13.0% less than last year.
