Haryana : Wheat procurement crosses 37,000 MT in Panchkula

HAFED and Haryana Warehousing Corporation procured 37,109 MT of wheat in Panchkula district during the 2026-27 rabi season, with 36,850 MT already lifted. Procurement continued across Raipur Rani, Barwala and Panchkula mandis, while lifting operations progressed almost parallel to procurement volumes.

Panchkula: HAFED and the Haryana Warehousing Corporation (HWC) have intensified wheat procurement and lifting operations across mandis in Panchkula district during the ongoing Rabi marketing season 2026-27.

According to the district food and supplies controller office, agencies have procured 37,109 metric tonnes (MT) of wheat so far, of which 36,850 MT has already been lifted.

Procurement is under way at Raipur Rani, Barwala and Panchkula grain markets. In Raipur Rani mandi, HAFED procured 4,800 MT, while HWC purchased 13,697 MT. At Barwala, HAFED procured 7,850 MT and HWC 8,744 MT. In Panchkula mandi, HAFED has procured 2,028 MT.

Lifting operations have also progressed in tandem. In Raipur Rani, HAFED lifted 4,800 MT and HWC 13,687 MT. At Barwala, HAFED and HWC lifted 7,850 MT and 8,744 MT, respectively. In Panchkula mandi, 1,769 MT has been lifted by HAFED so far.
