Presently there is fodder shortage in three talukas namely Pandharpur, Mangalvedha, Mohol. The animals are suffering due to lack of fodder, farmers cannot afford to buy animal feed due to increase in price. If the government had started the fodder depot, there would have been no shortage of tea, it is being discussed by the farmers. 

70 to 80 carts of sugarcane are sold every day
and the cost of animal feed is increasing day by day. In addition, the availability of green fodder such as maize, bitter gourd etc. has become difficult. Therefore, it is seen that 70 to 80 carts are coming to Pandharpur Bazar Samiti every day with sugarcane for sale. As it is necessary to take care of animals, it is seen that there is an increase in the trend of buying sugarcane as fodder.
