BJP MLA vows to ensure shifting of ethanol unit Telangana
BJP MLA A. Maheshwar Reddy pledged support to the people of Dilawalpur in opposing the proposed ethanol plant. He promised to meet with the Chief Minister and officials, advocating for the plant’s relocation. Reddy assured legal assistance to farmers, vowing to stop the construction. He emphasized respecting the community’s decision and called for no police cases against protesters.
Hyderabad: BJP MLA and Assembly floor leader A. Maheshwar Reddy appealed to people of Dilawalpur for calm, saying he would be with them in their fight against the ethanol plant. He assured them that he would soon meet the CM and higher officials along with farmers and seek shifting of the plant to other places. “Several appeals were made to higher officials about shifting of the ethanol plant to a place away from human settlements.
I discussed the issue with farmers of Gundampalli and assured them of all legal help in this regard. I spoke with the Dilawalpur joint action committee also on this issue twice,” he said. In the appeal, he averred that the decision of the Dilawalpur people will be final. “I am ready for any decision on behalf of people. I will take steps for stopping the construction of the factory. I will meet the farmers soon. The police should not file any cases against them.” he said.
