The Gujarat government has extended the wheat procurement deadline under the support price scheme from May 15 to June 15. The move aims to ensure more farmers can sell their wheat at Minimum Support Price (MSP) and benefit from government procurement operations.
Gandhinagar: The state govt on Thursday extended the deadline for purchase of wheat at support prices from May 15 to June 15.
A Gujarat State Civil Supplies Corporation statement said that the deadline has been extended until June 15 so that maximum number of farmers can avail the opportunity to sell their wheat at support prices.
