Indonesia’s H1 palm oil exports rise 2.5%
Indonesia exported 11.28 million tonnes of crude and refined palm oil during January–June 2026, up 2.5%, while export revenue rose 7.3% to $12.27 billion. June shipments declined 12.6%, but higher global prices supported export values.
Indonesia exported 11.28 mln tons of crude and refined palm oil in January–June 2026, up 2.5% from the same period last year. According to the country’s statistics bureau, export revenue increased 7.3% to $12.27 bln.
In June alone, palm oil exports fell 12.6% year-on-year to 2.4 mln tons. Despite the lower shipment volume, exports were valued at $2.7 bln, reflecting continued strength in global palm oil prices.
The official data covers only crude and refined palm oil and excludes palm kernel oil, oleochemicals, and biodiesel. Industry association GAPKI is expected to release a broader export report later, so its figures may differ from the official statistics.
