The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.
The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is November 26.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.
The shipment is being sought in various combinations of 50,000-60,000 tons. In 2025, possible shipment combinations include Jan. 16-31; Feb. 1-14; Feb. 15 28 and March 1-15.
The same shipping periods were sought in the tender on Tuesday.
Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes this Wednesday. (Reporting and editing by Jason Neely; Michael Hogan)
