Ukraine’s wheat exports nearly reach 3 mln tonnes
Ukraine exported 5.439 million tonnes of grains and pulses in the 2026/27 marketing year as of October 7, down 24.3% year on year. Wheat and barley shipments fell 42.2% and 51.4%, respectively, while corn exports doubled to 1.961 million tonnes.
As of October 7, Ukraine had exported 5 mln 439 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses in the 2026/27 marketing year, down 1 mln 751 thsd tonnes, or 24.3%, year on year.
This was reported on the website of Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
As of October 7, Ukrainian wheat exports totalled 2 mln 955 thsd tonnes, down 2 mln 165 thsd tonnes, or nearly 42.2%, year on year.
Since the start of the new marketing year, Ukrainian agricultural producers have exported 0.2 thsd tonnes of rye. As of October 7, barley shipments abroad totalled 483 thsd tonnes, down 456 thsd tonnes, or 51.4%, year on year.
Ukrainian corn exports totalled 1 mln 961 thsd tonnes, up 987 thsd tonnes, or twofold, year on year.
In addition, Ukraine shipped 9.9 thsd tonnes of flour abroad (equivalent to 13.2 thsd tonnes of grain), down 7 thsd tonnes, or 41.4%, year on year.
