Bhav to eat Rabbit wheat, gram; Kardai crop will also be preferred!
Washim: After the disappointment of this year’s kharif season, the attention of farmers is now approaching the rabi season. In Rabi season this year too, wheat and gram will be the most preferred crops, and the agriculture department has planned on 1.15 lakh hectares.
Due to delayed arrival of monsoon this year, sowing in Kharif season was also delayed. After that, due to lack of consistency in rains and yellow mosaic and other diseases, there is a huge decrease in the production of soybeans, which has increased the concern of the farmers. As the Kharif season disappointed, the farmers are completely relying on the Rabi season crops. As the return rains are also turning away, will the projects get enough water to irrigate the Rabi crops or not? Rabi crops are sown on an average of one lakh hectares every year in the district.
