ACI Foods Limited, a subsidiary of ACI Limited, has introduced Bangladesh’s first-ever fortified rice under its renowned ‘ACI Pure’ brand. The launch event, held at the ACI Centre in Tejgaon, Dhaka, marked a milestone in ACI’s commitment to addressing malnutrition and promoting public health, particularly focusing on the nutrition of pregnant women and children. The event was graced by M. Anis Ud Dowla, Chairman of ACI Group, Dr. Arif Dowla, Managing Director of ACI Limited, Md. Masudul Hasan, Secretary of the Ministry of Food, and Faria Yasmin, Chief Business Officer of ACI Foods & Commodity Brands. Ms. Mannan Mumma, Deputy Head of Programme of the World Food Programme, and other distinguished officials also attended. M. Anis Ud Dowla highlighted the critical issue of malnutrition in Bangladesh and reaffirmed ACI Limited’s dedication to fostering the nation’s nutritional progress. Dr. Arif Dowla expressed confidence that ACI Pure Fortified Rice would help combat micronutrient deficiencies, contributing significantly to national well-being. Faria Yasmin and other guests emphasised the importance of innovation and nutrition in enhancing food products.
ACI Pure Fortified Rice is available in two premium variants, Jeerashail and Katari. Both are enriched with essential nutrients, including Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12, Iron, Zinc, and Folic Acid, scientifically proven to boost overall health and well-being.
