Russia may export up to 3.6 mln tons of wheat in March
Russia exported about 2.75 million tons of wheat in February, up from 2.07 million tons a year earlier, according to Rusagrotrans estimates. Exports could rise to 3.6 million tons in March as weather improves and shipments accelerate, keeping total 2025/26 season exports through March close to last year’s pace.
Russia exported an estimated 2.75 mln tons of wheat in February, compared with 2.07 mln tons a year earlier, according to preliminary estimates from the analytical center of Rusagrotrans, Interfax reported.
“In March, amid improving weather conditions and faster shipments, Russian wheat exports may reach 3.6 mln tons compared with 2.01 mln tons in March 2025,” the analysts said.
If the forecast proves accurate, wheat exports in the first nine months of the 2025/26 MY (July-March) will total 36 mln tons, which will be almost in line with the same period of the previous season (36.3 mln tons).
