Ukrainian corn exports reached 14 mln tons

Ukraine’s grain exports in 2025/26 have dropped 20% to 25.6 million tonnes, led by sharp declines in wheat, corn, and barley shipments. The slowdown signals tighter global supply from a key exporter, potentially supporting international grain prices despite overall demand and trade disruptions.

The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2025/26 as of March 26 amounted to 25.6 million tons, which is 6.6 million tons, or 20% less than the previous season.

This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.

Thus, 9.85 million tons of wheat were exported. This is 3 million tons, or 24% less than last year’s volumes.

Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to over 1.4 million tons. The decrease compared to the same date last season is 36%.

Rye was exported in the amount of 0.2 thousand tons, which is ten times less than last year’s 10.8 thousand tons.

Almost 14 million tons of corn were exported, which is 17% less than last season’s shipments.

Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 49.3 thousand tons, which is 7% less than last year’s figure.

For reference: in the 2024/25 MY, exports of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
