Pakistan receives lowest wheat tender offer at $348.83/t

Agrocorp submitted the lowest offer of $348.83 per tonne for 55,000 tonnes in Pakistan’s wheat tender, followed by LDC at $349.97 for 110,000 tonnes and Bunge at $356.86 for 116,000 tonnes. Nine companies participated, with no contracts awarded yet.

In a wheat tender by the Trading Corporation of Pakistan that closed on September 16, Agrocorp submitted the lowest offer at $348.83/t for 55 thsd tons, Bloomberg reported, citing traders.

The next lowest offer came from LDC at $349.97/t for 110 thsd tons of wheat. Bunge offered 116 thsd tons at $356.86/t.

At least nine companies participated in the tender.

The Trading Corporation of Pakistan was seeking to buy up to 750 thsd tons of wheat. The report provides details of the offers received but does not indicate that any contracts have been awarded.
